RANDOM QUESTION...
For all of you "professional" bloggers out there....How do you get companies to send you samples and/or products in order to do a giveaway??? There are so many great things that I would love to do....but I CLEARLY cannot afford it all! Do you just find them and email them!? What do you say?? I am so curious to know!

oooh I'm curious too! Do tell people!
I am so glad you asked this question...I want to know too!
I kind of always assumed that these "professional bloggers' were fronting the expense themselves, but if not i would love to know how they do this!
A lot of times you can write/call a marketing/PR person for a particular product to send you a sample of something that you love and blog about all the time. It's up to chance, but sometimes the press rep won't have any qualms about it as long as you let them give you the facts on the product to write about on your blog.
It might also depend on how many followers you have. The more followers you have, the better your chances of getting to use a product for "review" on your blog.
I'm no blogging expert, just a marketing one :)
i'm always up for hosting you a giveaway :) if you other plans fall through. let me know.
I have been wanting to do a giveaway as well but, have had no clue on how people get the items to giveaway! haha! Glad you asked!
I've hosted many giveaways (from legit sites) and I get asked to review sites in return for a link or a small sum, but that I DONT do because the sites are usually not related to my blog at all.
I've never contacted any of them, they always contact me, and that happened after my blog got more popular and my stats got higher. They usually find you through other blogs, scroll around your site to see what its all about, check your stats and if they think you fit the bill, they'll do the asking :)
Sorry for taking up your time! But I thought I'd lend you my 2 cents :)
I've heard that BzzAgent does it sometimes...never done it though, but it's worth a try.
My money's on what Alya said!
