Is It Christmas Yet?
I have gone to two weddings in the last few months and showed up with almost the same identical dress (color and style) as the bridesmaids...I think it might be time to find a new wedding-going dress! I think this one from Forever21 is super cute and would work just fine! It's called the Rustic Metallic Lace Dress and is only $22.80! What do you think??
We have been kind of looking for a new comforter for our guest bedroom but don't want to change up all of the accesories in there. The comforter we have right now is Casey's comforter from college...it's so comfortable...but i think it's time! It's a big dark plaid Ralph Lauren comforter. I found this duvet from Pottery Barn that I think I really like and we could keep all of our red accesories in the room! It's called the Catherine Paisley Duvet. Does it look Christmasy???
I have been wanting this book since it came out this year! I think it's such a cool coffee table book! It's called Dancehalls & Dreamers. I am a huge Texas Country music fan. I have grown up araound it...my family even owns a Texas Country music radio station! It's so much fun! Texas Country is a completely different beast than Nashville country! Anyways...this book talks all about the Texas Country musicians and the big honky tonks that they play at! I would love to own it! You can find it on Amazon or if you live in the Fort Worth area...I know that they sell it at Billy Bob's! (Cara Beth....I figured you might enjoy this too!)Well...that is all I have for now! You can wipe the drool off of your desk and get back to work! :) I hope you have a wonderful day and have been inspired by my fun finds!

I hope you all are having a great Monday! Mine has gotten off to a rough start...those fourth graders are CHATTY this morning! Good thing they had to scoot off to Art at 9! But, they will be back soon and hopefully some of their energy will be gone! My coffee wasn't so good this morning...so, i didn't drink it....therefore....it's a long morning! :)
Our weekend was good....we went home to a wedding and to see our family. We have really been contemplating moving back to our hometown for the last year and thought we might try to this coming summer. We love our hometown and love that all of our family is there. But, I think this weekend made us realize that we are NOT ready to make that move yet! We love the town and it's a great place for kids to grow up....but some of the people...just kill me! A big part of the town is very pretentious...and you just don't even want to get stuck talking to some of the people there...they just wear you out! Casey and I are both just not ready to be immersed in all of that yet. We like our privacy that we have right now and love that we can go to the store and not see one person we know (it IS nice to see people you know every once in a while...but when you just want to go out looking like crap....not so nice!). We have decided that for now...it's just a nice place to visit! I mean it IS only 2 hours away!
Well....back to teaching...I am going to try to make myself blog more this week!!!
XOXO,
Hilary
