Get Your Boots On!

I was really excited to have a cool opportunity this morning through my job! There is a really neat foundation that I have recently learned about called the Boot Campaign. This campaign was started by 5 women that wanted to help out and show their support for the active military members and the veterans as well. They have celebrities and other supporters that have heard about their foundation by word of mouth and who are all big advocates of the campaign now! Anyone from Chris Harrison to Travis Pastrana to Rick Perry to Randy Rogers Band, etc!

Their strategy is very basic.... you buy a pair of their army boots. The money from this purchase will support troops and veterans through the work of the Lone Survivor Foundation. (read up on this foundation as well.... Marcus Lutrell has an amazing story!)

One of the "Boot Girls" is from Tyler and really pushes the campaign in this area. An owner of a company in Tyler recently bought ALL of his employees pairs of the Boot Campaign army boots to show their support. This is the first COMPANY to support the campaign. They had their big photo shoot this morning with all of their boots on and I was one of the very few invited to come along and hang out! It was such a cool opportunity! It definitely pulls on the heartstrings a little bit to see all of these people showing their support and so excited about it!

My only thing I ask of you.... PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS FOUNDATION! It's such a great cause and a cool thing to be a part of! I want them to continue to succeed in growing and gaining more and more supporters.

Let me know what you think! If you buys some boots or know someone who does...I would love to see a picture!

XOXO,

Hilary
