PROUD....

I have to say....I am super proud of myself!! I am really bad at making excuses not to work out or exercise....but this week...I think I have gotten over that!! I have managed to run 5 out of the 6 days this week so far! The only reason that I missed a day was because I didn't get home until 10 last night...and I was NOT going to be unsafe and run by myself so late! I made up for it by getting up this morning and going straight outside to run. We have to be somewhere at 3 today.....so I might try to get outside and run another mile just to really make up for missing a day. I am finally getting to where I am STARTING to enjoy running more! I feel a little better about it each day...especially now that the soreness from day 1 and 2 are gone! It has been beautiful outside and I really have no excuses!

I did pretty well eating better this week! I really stuck to my Special K and enjoyed it! Sometimes I get sick of things too fast....but I was good! I actually need to run out and get some more today! Just think about it....two boxes of Special K lasted me 5 days. I ate a cup for breakfast and a cup for lunch....so really we spent about 6 bucks on my breakfast and lunch all together this week! What a money saver and you don't feel HUGE after eating it! My favorite flavors are the Chocolatey Delight, Red Berries, and Blueberry! YUM!! I could snack on it all the time!!! I did have ONE cheat meal last night...we went to Uncle Julio's ( a delish Mexican restaurant) and I had about 3 flour tortillas, queso, and a margarita!!! I couldn't help myself!!! But I just had tortilla soup as my meal....that balanced it out...right?!

Ahhhhh well....

Okay....here is the deal....

Great job with running. I missed running yesterday and had to go the YMCA to make up for it this morning. It feels great to know that now it actually bothers me if I miss a workout.

Your doing great! I have to admit I'm pretty proud of myself also, my gym resolution of 2010 was to go 3 times a week and so far so good. :)

That's great about the running! were you always a runner? I have tried running but don't get very far. People say that is ok - just start off slowly - walk/run...walk/run...till you get up to speed.
I love Special K!!!

Way to go on the running! I am so bad about the "excuses thing" myself! But sometimes you just gotta make yourself do it! Once you get into a routine its' not so bad - it's just gettin started thats the tough part! keep up the good work!

Good for you girl! Do you really get full off the Special K? You have a cup of cereal for two meals?? I tried that and was STARVING!! Maybe since my stomach shrunk I'll try it again and I will be more full :)

Ok, I won't lie, I'm jealous of your will-power, but at the same time I am so proud of you! Good work, girl! I think you have inspired me to get more active...maybe, just maybe?? And fyi, my frame is finally on display in my house and it looks b-e-a-utiful!!
